Aims of the Research and development group  

• To identify the most effective current teaching and learning strategies.
• To ensure that the strategies selected are supported by educational research.
• To communicate the strategies to the staff via the CITAL group.
• To improve the range of strategies available to staff at Kirk Hallam.
• To increase the range of learning opportunities for the students at Kirk Hallam.
• To ensure that Kirk Hallam is well informed in terms of current educational initiatives concerning teaching and learning.
