The presentation I gave to staff tonight about part of my experiences in Bangladesh, the quality is poorer because I’ve had to save the slides as jpegs and reinsert them. Slideshare doesn’t seem to like complex presentations sometimes . Not much information as I wanted to speak from personal experience, but some interesting pictures showing school life in the country.
Thanks to David, who directed me to the Friends of Kirk Hallam Lake and Meadows, a community group who have the aim of managing the attractive area around K.H.C.T.C .
I’m becoming a bit of an amateur photographer, which just shows you how good digital cameras are, I received an email to say that one of my images, of the Sony Centre in Potsdamer Platz, has been used in the new BerlinSchmap travel map. The Berlin visit is a joint MFL-Humanities venture that takes place in Year 10.
Wordpress isn’t liking embedded Windows Media player and Mpg files, but I think I’ve come up with a solution. Click on the image for the virtual tour. The video might take some time to buffer. With thanks Atkins/Faithful and Gould. My room is on the second floor, but don’t tell anyone .
Artist impressions have now been released of the new sixth campus, with thanks to Atkins/Faithful and Gould, as a Geographer I always find images interesting, looks brilliant.

After a decent night’s sleep in a comfortable bed, I have an early start at 6.00 a.m., luckily my mobile phone, which even better has a signal, wakes me up . Today we will to travelling into ruralBangladesh, 60 km outside Dhaka to Tanguil, we will visiting our host school which has a world reputation for providing vocational education. After a quick shower, spraying myself with insect repellent, dressing in light business wear, which is basically my College uniform, and packing my bag, I descend in the lift to breakfast.
