What a fantastic range of ideas included here Tony I have only had chance for a quick look but there seem to be some ideas to follow up on covering many different topics. I am off to try inserting comments into Word ! Thankyou for letting us share in this great newsletter.

Monumental effort, Tony. I think we are getting better at sharing good subject practice beween schools but somehow we are more reticent about sharing between departments within schools! Your newsletter and blog are a great way to break down those barriers and encourage peole to really look at what colleagues in other departments are doing.

Thanks for the supportive comments Val. I was wondering, what teaching and learning strategies are being championed in the Scottish system at the moment?
Hopefully I will get to Scotland in October.

Thanks Val, it’s an area which I need to read more about. Anwen has suggested some good resources about questioning, so I’m follow up on these.
Cheers
