The first meeting of the KHCTC Research and Development Group took place on Wednesday evening. More details can be found here.
Our first focus will be considering the accelerated learning cycle for lesson planning, then conducting a small-scale trial in our classrooms.
We will also be having a play with podcasting and considering the application for both students and teachers.
The group would be interested to hear from practitioners already making use of these two techniques.
We are also keen to visit other schools and colleges to observe practice.
If your establishment has a research and development group, we’d be keen to hear how you have managed the group to enable effective dissemination of good practice to fellow colleagues.

This is the beginning of great things for us at KH.Working on the principle of ‘the bigger the audience the more feedback and therefore the better quality of work produced’ this is the way forward. We hope to scan the horizons and be a sponge for great ideas. Fantastic work Tony.

Thanks Aidan,
Please feel free to leave comments, we are keen for feedback.
Are you following the same model of teaching and learning development?
Or have you found something you have used?
I’m particularly keen for feedback on the newsletter? Does anyone do anything similar?
